Leschi Park is an 18-acre waterfront park on Lake Washington, named for Chief Leschi of the Nisqually people. Best known for its boat launches, lakeside lawns, and views of the Cascades, the park also has a single walk-up tennis court a short path from the water.

One outdoor hard court, walk-up only and free — no reservation system, so it won't show up on the city's booking grid and can't be held ahead of time. No lights and no hitting wall, so play is limited to a single court during daylight hours.

Leschi draws plenty of foot traffic for its lake access and views, but the tennis court itself is a smaller draw than the boat launches and waterfront lawns, so it can be a relatively easy court to find open outside of peak weekend hours.

The park is at 201 Lakeside Ave S, on the shore of Lake Washington. Amenities include restrooms, a playground, motorized and hand-carry boat launches, and drinking fountains.

Leschi is a small, lakefront residential neighborhood with a short strip of cafes and restaurants near the marina, and easy access to Lake Washington Blvd for a post-match walk or run along the water.
