Amy Yee Tennis Center (AYTC) is Seattle's only public indoor tennis facility, with 10 courts that keep the city playing year-round — rain, wind, or the dark months of a Seattle winter. Reserving one works differently from every outdoor court in the city, and differently from AYTC's own six outdoor courts next door: there's no online booking widget. Reservations are made by phone or in person.

How to Reserve an Indoor Court

Indoor courts at AYTC can be booked two ways, and neither is a self-serve website:

• Up to 6 days ahead: call (206) 684-4764 or go in person. Phone reservations this far out require an annual telephone reservation card, purchased through Seattle Parks' Active Communities portal. In-person reservations don't need the card. Either way, it's one court per day, per person.
• Same day: call (206) 684-4764 or walk up to the front desk. No reservation card needed, first-come first-served, no limit on how many same-day slots you can take. Phone and in-person reservations both open at 9:10am daily.

There is no CourtReserve or ActiveNet-style online checkout for the indoor courts themselves — that system exists for AYTC's outdoor courts and other Seattle Parks outdoor facilities. The indoor side runs on the phone line and the front desk.

Why Indoor Play Is Different Here

The other 100+ public tennis courts in Seattle are outdoors and go quiet — or icy, or soaked — for a good chunk of the year. AYTC's indoor courts are the one place in the city's public system where a rained-out Tuesday doesn't cancel your match. That makes them the highest-demand courts we track, especially October through April, and the annual reservation card is worth it for anyone who wants a standing weekly slot rather than gambling on the same-day line.

Location, Access, and Amenities

The indoor courts share the same building and parking lot as AYTC's outdoor courts on Martin Luther King Jr. Way S. The front desk that handles indoor reservations also has restrooms, vending machines, and a pro shop on site.
